Hi, I’m Jane. I’ve created this little corner of the internet as a base for my ‘Jane Writes For You‘ service and as a platform for the book of rhymes I wrote to raise funds and awareness for Women V Cancer.
I’m a wife, mum, daughter, friend, not-so-serious cyclist, Zoology graduate, Company Secretary, counsellor and writer. I’ve been, amongst other things, a Road Race Director, Open University student, Samaritan, Breast Cancer Care employee and Hospice music therapist (of sorts – I can’t read a note…). I’m a Women V Cancer fundraiser and awareness-raiser. I’m a passionate advocate of equality and inclusion. I’m the one at the party listening to the one who needs to talk. I write and recite. I speak at events – usually in rhyme – and I write rhymes commercially.
I have many varied interests and skills, some of which I’ve come and gone with over the years, but writing has been a constant in my life. I’ve always loved to write, and I’m always deeply touched when I’m told that something I’ve written has reached out and touched other people.
Welcome, and thank you for visiting Jane Writes.
